How to Complete The Styles of Times Quest

The Styles of Times is a Seasonal Quest that will give you cool hairstyles and Hats if you can complete each quest.

You must complete this quest for 6 days to unlock all haircut gifts.

This quest was previously available. If you can't finish it before, then you will start on the last quest you did. If you have previously completed this Quest, then you will not get it again

Here's How to complete The Styles of Times Quest The Sims Freeplay

First Day Duty:

Send a sim to the park = Order sim to visit the city park

Investigate glint at the park = Click on the X mark in the city park

Examine the capsule = Click Capsule, select "Exemine"

Discuss technology with another sim = Click on another sim select "Discuss Technology"

Plug usb into a computer = Click computer, select "Plug in USB"

Check the usb files on a computer = Click the computer, select "Check USB Files"

Place usb in time capsule = Click Capsule, select "Place USB"

Wait for day 2 = Wait until tomorrow to get the next quest. You will not get Wait for day 2 assignments if the next day you still have not completed the first day's assignment. You will only go straight to second day assignments

NOTE: You can skip this task using 10LP so you don't have to wait until the next day



Second Day Duty:

Check the time capsule = Click capsule, select "check"

Ask a sim on a date = Click another sim, select "Ask on a date"

Watch the ducks together = click on the lake that has a duck in it, one sim click the duck, select "Watch the Duck", the second sim click on the duck, select "Join In"

Give flowers to a sim = Click on another sim, select "give flower"

Passionately kiss your date = Click on another sim, select "Passionately kiss"

Place flowers in capsule = Click capsules, select "Place flowers in capsule"

Investigate the capsule chamber = Click capsule, select "Investigate Chamber"

Wait for day 3 = Wait until tomorrow to get the next quest. You will not get Wait for day 3 assignments if on the third day you still have not finished the second day assignment. You will only go straight to the third day assignment

NOTE: You can skip this task using 10LP so you don't have to wait until the next day


Third Day Duty:

Check the capsule display = Click capsule, select "Check display"

Watch a modern lifestyle show = Kik TV, choose "Modern Lifestyle Show"

Try on a new hairstyle = Order the sim to try the new hair in the Wardrobe


Have 5 sims at a house = Order 5 sim in 1 house

Have 4 retro dance sims to a stereo = Order 1 sim click stereo / radio, select "retro dance", command 3 sim click radio select, "join in"

Film the party = Click Movie Camera that can be purchased in the promotion building r us, select "Make Party Video"


Raid the refrigerator = Click the refrigerator, select "Raid"

Place video in capsule = Click capsule, select "Place Video"

Wait for day 4 = Wait until tomorrow to get the next quest. You will not get Wait for day 4 assignments if on the fourth day you still have not finished a third day assignment. You will only go straight to the fourth day assignment

NOTE: You can skip this task using 10LP so you don't have to wait until the next day


Day 4 Task:

Read a cookbook = Click the bookshelf, select "Read a CookBook"

Get the first ingredient = Click the tree around your house, select "Collect Bark"


Get the second ingredient = Plant Watermelon


Get the final ingredient = Click the duck in the city park lake, select "Fragrant Reeds Collect"


Make the special recipe = Click the stove, select "Make Special Recipe"

Place incense in capsule = Click capsule, select "Place Incense in Capsul"

Investigate the second chamber = Click capsule, select "Investigate Chamber"

Wait for day 5 = Wait until tomorrow to get the next quest. You will not get Wait for day 5 assignments if on the fifth day you still have not finished the fourth day assignment. You will only go straight to the fifth day assignment

NOTE: You can skip this task using 10LP so you don't have to wait until the next day


Fifth Day Task:

Check the capsule again = Click Capsule, select "Check Again"

Check a bookshelf for the card = Click the bookshelf, select "Check for Chrismast Card"

Place card in capsule = Click capsule, select "Place Card"

Panic in front of capsule = Click capsule, select "Panic"

Ask the statue for help = Click the sitting statue in the city park, select "Ask for Help"


Call a second sim to the park = Order 1 more sim to visit the city park

Pretend to sing = Sim first click the capsule, select "Pretend to sing", the second sim click on the capsule, select "Eye them suspiciously"

Wait for day 6 = Wait until tomorrow to get the next quest. You will not get Wait for day 6 assignments if on the sixth day you still have not finished the fifth day assignment. You will only go straight to the task on the sixth day

NOTE: You can skip this task using 10LP so you don't have to wait until the next day

Sixth Day Tasks:

Check park bench for used gum = Click the park bench, select "Check for Used Gum"

Stick gum in the statues ears = Click the sitting statue, select "Stick gum in ears"

Listen to the statues ideas = Click the sitting statue, select "Listen to Idea"

Prepare a disguise in the park toilets = Click the toilet in the city park, select "Prepare Disguise"

Boil water on a stove = Click the stove, select "Boil Water"

Pour water into capsule = Click capsule, select "Pour Boiling Water"

Investigate the final chamber = Click capsule, select "Check final Chamber"

Celebrate to the park stereo = order 1 sim Click stereo that is on the city park dock, select "celebrate". Then command 3 sim to click stereo on the city park dock, select "Join in"
